The Happiest Place on Earth

I swear that I am like a kid when it comes to Disney. I just smile thinking of the place!

I was beyond excited to surprise the kids with "A Very Merry Disney Christmas" at the park.
This is a separate event at Disney where you have to buy tickets.
The good news...it begins at 7 p.m. but you can get in a little earlier on most days.

So, we paid less than we would for regular park tickets and experienced Disney with MUCH less people and in a totally Christmas atmosphere.
A Complete win, if you ask me!

So, how did we actually tell the kids?

Jackson read the sign as we drove in and screamed "Are we going to Disney World?"

I loved that he figured it out that way!

We immediately hit the rides, playing like we were Buzz Lightyear...
Some of us were more into it than others...heehee

The highlights of this event are the musical shows going on in different parts of the park. We were able to see Lilo and Stitch and Buzz Lightyear singing while it snowed on us!

For me personally, there were 2 parts of this night that I keep thinking about.
First was when Lily saw Minnie at a Meet & Greet.
She was waving her little hand like crazy and saying "Hi Meemee Mouse,"
while she waited for her turn.
It was precious! Once we got our turn, she couldn't keep her eyes off of Minnie.
Minnie kissed her and Lily kept telling us throughout the night "Meemee tissed me."
The other highlight for me was the parade.
I always love the parade but watching it through the eyes of the kids was great.
Jackson sat on my lap and we waved at all of the characters that went by.

Lily was in awe, of course, and waved her little hand so much at everyone!
Parker, evidently has a crush on all of the ladies.
He was waving and blowing kisses to the princesses.
He would get so embarrassed if we mentioned it to him at all.
Seeing him blush was hilarious!
The parade ended around 11:00 p.m. and these kids were beyond tired.

Lily was sleeping in the stroller by 11:30.
The boys made it until we got into the car, around 12:45.

It was a magical night, even if they still woke up at 6:30 a.m. the next morning.

DISNEY is so AWESOME. We go every Sept. OK, so where did you all stay, which resort? Did you get the meal plan and do the character dining? Did you guys hit Downtown Disney. Sorry for all the questions, my whole family loves Disney and we have never been during the Winter Season. Tracy on her blog has a link to our Disney vacation. Disney is so awesome and I am glad you all had fun. And a side note, has Willie heard anything yet from any teams?
