Waste

I seriously can not stand to waste things. It seems every year, we have to throw away food, cleaning supplies, and miscellaneous stuff, as we move from place to place.

It gets old. And I feel terrible about it.

I donate all unopened non-perishable food to food banks.

I donate anything that I can to goodwill.

But then, there is the perishable food, or the opened but barely used ketchup, etc.

Or the laundry detergent, or dish soap. I can't exactly pack that in my suitcase.

I always find a few girls who I can give things to, but each of us get into this situation at the end of the year. It's so wasteful and no one likes this part!

And then, this year, we had things that would NOT fit in the car to be shipped across the country.

I had no choice but to put all of it in a bin outside our apartment with signs on it.

"FREE!

MOVING, HATE TO WASTE."

I am hoping that some of the people that lived nearby made use of these things.
