Jackson: "Mom, I am so sick. My tummy hurts. This homework is making me sick."
Me: "Really? What should we do?"
Jackson: "I should stay home from school and not do my homework. I have such a headache."
{Notice how his tummy ache turned to a headache.}
Me: "Well, you better not play your Nintendo DS either."
Jackson: "I'm done with my homework and I feel much better."
Interesting!
Though, I can see where that amount of homework could leave you feeling exhausted.

My son is in first grade this year and hates any kind of activity that involves writing. He'll say "I'm too tired" or get very dramatic and say "I just can't do it!"
