I LOVE Parker! He is such character, full of spunk, sweetness,
and
stubborn(-ess ?).
He makes me laugh most of the day.
There is a special place in my heart for him because he acts exactly like I did as a middle child.
{Us middle children have to stick together!}
With all of this being said...I have had a rough couple of days with him.
I am hoping that Willie's return home tomorrow morning will bring about a nicer child.
Or at least, allow me to get a bit of a break (naptime) and some sleep (morningtime).
Yesterday, Parker refused to nap.
Instead, he woke up Jackson who had been napping for about 40 minutes.
I made him go to bed earlier than Jackson last night (by 15 minutes), which was a big deal.
This "morning", he woke up and decided Lily wanted to play. She was sound asleep at 4:30 a.m., like we ALL should be. She sleeps in until 8 most mornings.
He walks into her room and turns on the light.
When I get out of bed to turn off the light and shut her door, he screams at the top of his lungs.
This wakes up Jackson. This means, I am now up for the day.
And will be living off of caffeine.
SO, please pray for naps for all of us today. I'm just not sure how much less sleep I can take!

I recall you mentioning that Parker reminded you of yourself as a child so I enjoy hearing your stories and examples...thank you for sharing. Its hard to find the humor when you need a caffeine IV but I enjoyed the smile this brought to my face.
