Guess What? They Made Me Laugh Again

Oh Jackson, Parker, and Lily...you are full of personality and have such differing opinions. I really do like this, except when it turns into a punching each other out match.

Anyhow..a couple of conversations:

Me: "Jackson, put your shoes on. We're going to the gym."

J: "I don't want to wear shoes."

Me: "Jackson, you can't go in your bare feet."

J: (giggling) "Bear feet? Why are you saying bear feet?"

Parker: "Because Bears don't wear shoes Jackson."

Parker: "I want to play Duck Duck Goose."

Jackson: "I don't want to play."

Parer: "Fine. I don't want you to play. I will just Duck and Duck and Duck and Goose myself. Then I will chase myself around a circle. Okay Jackson?"

{I have NO idea where he could get such a stubborn attitude!

I had the boys clean up their room.

This is ALWAYS a big fight.

"It takes too long."

"But, we didn't make the mess." {Who did then?}

"I don't want to clean up."

So, they said they were done and asked me to come check.

Me: "Well, the closet looks okay but you need to get everything up off of the floor

and into the bins."

Parker: "Guess what mom? We hid most of our toys under Jackson's bed so you wouldn't see them."

Jackson: "PARKER!!! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO TELL HER!!"

I laughed and told them to finish the closet. What else could I do?
