I am participating in Kelly's Korner's Weekly, show us Your Life.
Today, The topic is "Favorite Books/Children's Books."
I am in LOVE with "The 5 Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.
It really teaches you how different people feel love and goes step by step through ways to show your love to your spouse.
It has made a world of a difference in our marriage and I think everyone should own this book.

The author also has written "The 5 Love Languages of Children" and "The 5 Love Languages of God."
Currently, I am reading "Plan B" by Pete Wilson.
The book is full of hope amid disappointment in life.
The premise is: "What do you do when God doesn't show up the way you thought he would?"

Some of my favorite quotes from this book:
"We get ourselves into all kinds of trouble when we assume God must think and feel as we do."
"Your dreams may not be happening, and things aren't turning out the way you expected, but that doesn't mean your life is spinning out of control. It just means that you're not in control."
It goes along with the bible verse from Proverbs 3:5, which says
"Trust the Lord with all of your heart, and don't depend on your own understanding."
I haven't finished this book yet but it has become a real eye opener.
I will review the rest of it when I am finished.
So, what's your favorite book? I love to hear about new books..so spill the beans!!

Oh, I think I might need to read Plan B! Thank you for sharing! On my blog, I did childrens books. As far as grown up books, I like books like Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre (sounds like you might have that last name!) :) Nice to meet you!
I'm reading The Five Love Languages now.
As a Kindergarten teacher, I read far more children's books than adult books and some of my absolute favorites are:
- Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes (actually anything by Kevin Henkes)
- Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae
- Swimmy or anything by Leo Lionni
and The Lorax by Dr. Seuss!
