Lily's Quick Trip to Arizona

Lily and I had a great time seeing Willie in Arizona.
She was a pretty good traveler, even helping out with the luggage.

Unfortunately for us, there are no direct flights from Ft. Myers to Arizona.

So, we had a layover but she was a real trooper, even if she was a bit restless.

And, Lily loved seeing her daddy! I am certain that she has him wrapped around her finger. Seriously.

So, we started our St. Patrick's Day at the playground, visiting with some of our friends.
Amelisse and Lily are around the same age. Isn't Amelisse's hair just amazing?
Then, Willie and I got a date night! Woohoo!
Claire watched Lily for us while we grabbed some dinner and drinks.
{Claire was our sitter when we lived in AZ for the year of elbow rehab. She is great!}
Thursday, we started our day with a playdate at the park with my girlfriends from our year in AZ. I am so disappointed that I didn't get pictures of all of us together. These ladies are just great. They made what could have been a very LONG year absolutely amazing. I have made friends for life! So Lucky!
{I did happen to get a picture of Lily stealing a cupcake when I wasn't watching.}
Then, Lily got her ears pierced! What a little lady!!
Thursday night, we went to a baseball game and were able to see Willie pitch.
He did well. He pitched 1 2/3 innings. Gave up an inherited runner but pitched well.
And the best news was that he was able to get out of the way in time when a line drive came right back at his head. Praise God!
Friday, we went to breakfast. Lily loved sitting in a booth with her Dada!
And we went to another baseball game.
And showed our team spirit...
And {sigh} the time came to go home. Lily was such a trooper for our red-eye flight...
And we came home to the little boys!! I was so excited to see them, as was Lily.
Absence does make the heart go fonder.
2 more weeks or so until we get to be with Willie for baseball season!!

It was so great to see you while you were here visiting! Lily has really grown up!!

I truly hope your next two weeks (or so!) fly by so your family can all be together again!

And Lily's ears?! HOW FUN!! Chris still won't let us pierce Gentry's and she'll be four this summer! :)
