Isn't That The Worst?

I always give this advice when it comes to long distance relationships:

Enjoy the time you are with your husband and try not to think about having to be apart.

And, right now...I can not seem to make myself follow it!

Willie and I have done the long distance thing before. UGH! And every time I would visit for the weekend, I would dread having to say good-bye. So, I wasted the little time we had to have fun by worrying about the distance.

I just don't want him to leave. I know he has to. I know that a new phase has started and the days of us going out to spring training as a family are gone. And I hate it.

Don't get me wrong. I am happy to not have to pack up just yet.

But, I am missing Willie already. And he hasn't even left yet.

I know, I know. It is time for him to go back to work.

And I also know that he is going to do great out there.

And maybe he'll make me feel like this about America's favorite past time.
Okay, I need to get over this pity party and enjoy our family time!

I'm so sad you won't be out to spring training this year! I do hope you make it through spring in one piece. That will be challenging, but I know you can do it cuz you've made it through some crazy stuff (with three kids in tow!)

Love the fishing pics. Just a tip for when Willie leaves: I like to wear surgical gloves when baiting hooks (I hate the feel of those little worm-pokey-leg-thingys on my fingers when I'm baiting the hook!)
