Jackson and Lily

I know..Parker has had quite a week or two. But, the fact is...Jackson and Lily have been having alot of fun and doing alot of new things too. They just haven't been to the hospital this week or made a poopy mess. (Thank goodness for that, or I may be blogging from the funny farm.)

Jackson is loving to cook or bake or even just make his own lunch. So, we have been trying to include him in this each day. He has made cupcakes, tacos,pigs in a blanket, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! He is so proud and says he wants to be a "cooker" when he grows up...along with a baseball player and a football player. Man, he's going to be busy!

He is also learning to READ! Holy Cow! And..he is doing so well! I have been trying to make an effort to sit with him and read his new books. "Mat Sat. Sam Sat. Sam Sat on Mat." Truly interesting material but nonetheless...my little boy is growing up!

He is also taking an interest in choosing his own clothes and getting dressed himself...buttons and all!

He loves to make us proud. His smile is so big when we say we are proud of him. And he loves his Daddy. I am okay for him, but the sun rises and sets with Willie. I love watching them interact...especially since they are so alike in their mannerisms!

Lily is moving!! Ahhhhh...not to another country...but all around the house. She has mastered the scoot backwards thing and manages to scoot underneath furniture all of the time. Now, she is able to pull herself forward when she wants something!

It is coming! Right around the corner and I will have three children who can all go in different directions. Ahhhhhh!!

And have I mentioned how sweet it is to see the love Willie has for his only daughter? He loves the kids to pieces! His love for Lily is a different girly kind. I can't explain it. And while she is more of a mama's girl...she is starting to look like Willie. All day long, I see little Willie Lily.


So that is what is going on with my other two children! I have truly enjoyed my blogging break this week and got back into the sewing mode. I really need more hours in the day to get it all done!
