Opening Day

Whew...it has been so hectic here lately! Between taking care of the kids, unpacking, settling in, and going to some ball games...I barely have time to breathe!

Opening Day was exciting! This was Willie's second opening day he was a part of. It was by far the most special. There is just something about Texas that makes us feel like we belong here. I got the chills when they introduced Willie during introductions on the field. It was a truly amazing time.

And, right before that, I had met former President George W. Bush downstairs. I turned the corner, and there he was, with his parade of secret service people. He was so nice and came over to talk and find out who my husband was.

I said to Jackson: "Do you see who this is?"

Jackson said: "Can we go to the playroom now?"

Hmmm....


I did not get my camera out and I just might regret that. The media was flashing pictures and I thought maybe I could find one of those online...not yet! ugh!

I am still searching!!
