Parker had his first field trip! They went to a park and walked trails and rode a train.
My Jackson turned 8 (and still doesn't like his picture being taken!) He brought a prize for his class and had lunch with Willie and me and 2 of his classmates. He was excited to receive a tablet (like an iPad but kid-size!) We watched a Christmas Movie outside on the baseball field in our community with others from our neighborhood!
He also got to sleep at Grandma's house! I'd say that is a pretty fun birthday!
Lily had another recital! This one went even better than the last! We were able to sit on Santa's lap too!!
We have spent our weekend enjoying family. In light of the events around our world, spending time together is of utmost importance. I can't make sense of what has happened and being a teacher and a mom, this has hit extremely close to home. Please pray with me for the hurt this has caused so many.
