Jackson had an award ceremony at school so I took the morning off from teaching to go watch.
It was cute and here is what he received awards for:
The Peanut M&M Award...for being small, sweet, and a little nutty! :)
A Character Award for Responsibility...
{And Jackson is certainly Mr. Responsible...hope that continues in life!}
And he reached his goal for reading!
He read 40 chapter books this school year
AND completed 40 small book reports on them!
He was so proud!
And so am I!!
I have to mention that Jackson starts school at 8:30 a.m.
This ceremony was at 9:00 a.m.
He was upset that I couldn't sign him out for the day after the ceremony ended at 9:20.
Ha!
Once I explained that if he was signed out, he couldn't go to After-School Care, he quickly asked:
"Can I stay a long time at After Care then?"
The kid can't decide if he wants to leave early or stay late! :)
