Okay, so as I have thought more about last night's debacle with the babysitter, I have become more irate.
This is the second time we have used her and BOTH times,
she called us to come home because Jackson wouldn't go to bed.
Now, she was referred from some friends of ours, but I am wondering if this is a joke?
{Not a funny one.}
Also, with our crazy amount of traveling, we have had such luck with babysitters.
And we seem to have one in every city we frequent,
thanks to recommendations from friends and other families in baseball.
And NEVER, have we been called home.
So, when I retold this story to some family, they all had the same question:
"What time was this at, when she called you home?"
8:30 p.m.
Yes people.
EARLY.
Seriously, you are being paid a great deal to take care of my children.
We expect you to:
a) treat them with respect and realize that they ARE children.
b)not call us unless there is an emergency.
{Child NOT going to bed is NOT an emergency}
c) give us an honest update when we get home. We can deal with behavior problems then.
Why is that so tough?
Anyhow, we will not be using this sitter again.
And good luck Oklahoma-she's a teacher in your school system.

When we are in the same city ill babysit for you~ my usuals stay out till 2 am almost every weekend. lol that is so frustrating with that girl! :(
I agree! That girl needs to tell you to lose her number if she doesn't actually want to watch kids. Come on, 8:30? She'd have a fit with my kids...they JUST went to bed (it's midnight!!!)
