I'm not one to complain {hahaha}, but this has been one crazy week!
It all started with this guy:
I admit, we have a set of binoculars next to our bedroom window upstairs. I'll also admit that though I am TERRIFIED of alligators, I am so intrigued by their actions in our pond.
So, when I noticed an alligator that didn't look like the usual one in there, I ran upstairs to get a closer look.
And, I was shocked and scared. This alligator was acting eratic, all over the place, and he looked huge.
I called the Alligator Nuisance Hotline and then spoke with our guard at the gate.
{I MAY have lied and said the gator was on our back lawn, in order to get them out here.}
When the trappers came out, I was so busy and away from the house. I regret not being able to watch.
But, the alligator did attempt to attack the trappers. And the gator was 7 feet, 1 inch long.
So, I did feel bad about calling, knowing the gator would be killed. But, now knowing how big he really was...I feel quite comfortable thinking of him as some nice boots.
Anyhoo...then, this kid got sick on Thursday night...
and I mean sick as can be.
Jackson is typically my only child who stays well. This hit him hard. He was out of commission until Monday.
And, he looks thin as a rail, but still so incredibly cute.
Parker was calm and tired on Saturday morning. That's when I knew something was up with him.
He got a fever that night of 105.4 and I took him into the ER. {Thanks to my mom for meeting me there and taking my other two home.}
He has the Fever Virus. I am sure that is not the official name.
Sunday night, I thought he may be out of the woods with this.
I. WAS. WRONG.
He came into my room at 2:30, burning up. I gave him tylenol {or motrin...not sure..little sleep}
and let him lay in my bed. He then barfed in bed.
Seriously?
{Willie, you are a lucky guy!}
So, now, it is Monday night.
Jackson was back at school today. I am hoping and praying Parker can go tomorrow.
And I am praying with all I have that this one doesn't get sick...
Though, I am just waiting.
Here's to a better week!!
