Willie came up with this idea awhile back. He wanted to build drawers into a laundry room so we could simply put the clothes away right then and there.
A bright idea! But, not possible at our new place.
Then, Mom thought of using the closet in the downstairs bedroom for the kids clothes.
You see, we have ALOT of laundry. It piles up, even though I am committing to doing a load a day right now. There are 5 of us, so with 2 sets of clothing a day {on average}, it can get crazy.
{I should probably mention that our laundry room is downstairs and the bedrooms are up.}
So, we made the closet under the stairs into the kid's "dressing room."
I wasn't sure how this would work. But, it is amazing! They LOVE it!
They keep their space clean and organized. There haven't been shoes lying around the house because there is a place for these, and everything is labeled.
Getting ready in the morning has been simply dreamy.
And, though I still have loads of laundry, it has made my life SO much easier to have the boys put their clothes away.
