Pretty Mama

Lily,

We refer to you as Pretty Mama. One year ago today, we were blessed when you entered our world! And, how our world has changed?!

In your first year, you have been to Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma City, and Florida. You have taken 3 plane rides and have been to more major league baseball games than many people see in their lifetime.

You have slept through the night since you were 6 weeks old and we couldn't be more grateful! You have been hospitalized twice for RSV and asthma, allowing us to do our normal hospital tour in every city we visit!

You took your first steps at 10 months and got your first tooth right afterwards. You now walk all over the place. You have 3 teeth.

Your first real word was "Da-da"...which isn't a surprise since you have a special place in your heart for your Daddy! You also say "Mama", "Baba" (bottle) and "Uh-oh."

You are attached to your mama's hip and she not-so-secretly loves it!

You love to run and squeal while playing with your brothers. You love them to pieces.

You sleep with your doll that we got you before you were born. You now have 3 of these same dolls.

We hope you have a very happy birthday Miss Lily Jane. And know that even though your mama is crying alot today, she is excited about what each new phase will bring.
