The eye doctor said he has allergies in his eyes, which causes the blinking. We have an eye drop for that now.
He also checked Jackson's vision and I knew that there was trouble while he was doing the test.
He and I spent our afternoon out looking at glasses while the other kids were at home with the sitter. It was so nice to have that alone time with him.
Each time he tried on a pair of glasses, he would turn and say "Do you like them, Mom?" I liked most, but I wanted him to pick out a pair that he liked.
He first wanted these bright neon blue sports-type eyewear...you know, the ones with the strap around the head. He said they were "Awesome."
I told him when he was a football player, he could have them.
So, then, he chose these cutie ones:
I think they turned out just adorable.I said "No. You don't need them while you sleep."
He said "But, I can't see very well in the dark."
And he calls them his sunglasses.
And he calls them his sunglasses.
Whatever you call them, he looks like he's growing up now.
*sigh*
