Busy Bees

We have been enjoying the nice weather lately. The boys have been in the blow-up pool everyday for the past week.

And Miss Lily loves to watch them from the door. (Yes, we have put a chair sideways to block her from going outside. I realize, it's a little ghetto. But it does the job!)

They could seriously stay in there all day but after about 2 hours, they begin to fight in there. Here is what happens when the time has come to fight:
It starts out with two boys playing next to each other...
in this case, looking at each other's noses:

Then, one boy sets the other boy off...

And, the boys go at it for about two seconds...
Not to worry, no little boys were hurt during the event.

We also tried out a gymnastics class this week. I was a little worried because I wasn't looking for a dance class...they are rowdy boys after all. This was just perfect! They are signed up for 2 classes a week in August, since school is out for the month.

Stretching...

Jackson is on the left...Parker is on the right.

Parker hanging around..

Jackson working on his arm strength?

We also had a little hospital excitement this week. After all, what would a week without a hospital visit be like?

Jackson had a bad bug bite on his back. Swollen and puffy and really just scary looking. So, off we went to urgent care, where they sent us to the E.R.

They could not determine what bit him, just that he is highly allergic to whatever it was. Fabulous! So, he received some steroids to reduce the swelling and that was it.

Now, we are getting ready for our little road trip to see Willie tomorrow in Oklahoma City!
