For now, these kids keep me on my toes.
Jackson has started the tattling stage. Oh heaven help me...though I love him so very much, this has to be one of the most frustrating things.
"He's looking at me. He won't smile at me.
He is playing with my car. He isn't putting on his shoes."
So, I told him: "Mind your own business, Jackson."
He said: "I can't find my own business mom! Where is it?"
*************************************************
Parker...the only child of mine that looks so much like me...and acts just like me too.
*sigh*
(Mom, stop smiling. And I can hear your hiccups, you are laughing so hard!)
Here is today's story:
Me: "Parker, you aren't getting the prize. You didn't follow the rules."
Parker: (Folding arms over chest)"I'm going to spank you. You get back here right now with my candy."
(Oh for the love of pete...I wanted to laugh. But I had to be stern. I am in charge, after all.)
Where does he learn these things?
And please tell me he will be the sweet boy more than the naughty boy?
*************************************************
And Miss Lily...standing up...what? Not even 8 months old. She is crazy!
(Don't laugh at her leg warmers...the hardwood floors hurt those knees!)
And I politely told her that I wanted her to be a baby who snuggles. She said: "Da Da Da."
Of course.
Dada owns her little heart. And I am certain the feelings are mutual.
How sweet is that?
Okay, back to the fabric and those slimy, smiling, sometimes sweet little people I work for.

Hey!
We have been watching the Angels/Rangers series....we're so sad we didn't get to see Willie. Hope he's back soon.
That's great he'll be flying home to see his fam :)
Don't you worry he will be home soon. We want to watch him.
Love your stories. So cute! Love the leg warmers too!
