Pitching, Celebrities, and a Groupie

The boys love to look for Daddy on the "Circle Dirt". This is what they call the pitcher's mound.

Yesterday, they were able to see him play!

Well, Willie was bound to give up a run sometime right?

He gave up his first run yesterday...a solo homerun.

He said yesterday was his shakiest outing yet this spring...but his coach had nothing but good things to say about his pitching. Sometimes, you pitch well and have bad results and other times you pitch not so great and have good results.
Who knows??

I thought he looked pretty good out there! He can get 'em next time!!
He has truly had an amazing spring...and all after a year of rehab!

In other news, I have a strange celebrity crush. I can't help it. Willie makes fun of me all the time, but I love Owen Wilson.

So, I get a text message from Willie yesterday that says "Owen Wilson is at the field today.

He is nice..will be sitting in bullpen for game."

Okay, so I am sure he is messing with me. So I text back:

"Oh, Sandra Bullock just texted me. We are going for drinks after the game, okay?"

Willie has a celebrity crush on Sandra Bullock.

But, Owen Wilson was actually at the game and Willie met him.

AND...what did he say to him, you ask??

"My wife would leave me for you."

Fabulous. I totally would not...

but now I am so embarrassed about my little People Magazine Crush.

Just wait until I see Sandra for drinks...I will tell her funny stories!! ;0)

And...my children are so embarrassing as well! Seriously, these boys know what their Daddy looks like. Now, in a baseball uniform, I totally understand not being able to tell sometimes...I get it wrong too unless I see his number! ;0)

Well, as we are waiting for Willie after the game, other players are coming out in their regular clothes.

The boys ask me if everyone is their dad.

EVERY SINGLE PERSON.

So, you can see that these men obviously do not look like Willie.

I looked like a groupie hoping to find a Sugar daddy for my children.

Fabulous.

Anyhow, my little princess did not embarrass me all day...though she is still exhibiting the asthma symptoms with the blooming flowers around here!
